About the Rules of Netball Exam

Welcome to the Netball Australia Rules of Netball Theory Examination.

It is highly recommended that prior to commencing this exam you read a copy of the Rules of Netball. It is available for purchase from here.

To pass the Rules of Netball Theory Examination, you must score at least 70%. If you score less than 70% you will need to complete the exam again to be registered as a pass with Netball Australia, your State Netball Organisation and your local Association/Club.

Duration and Cost

You will have two (2) hours to complete the exam, so make sure you have enough time set aside without interruptions. If you don’t finish within the required time it is still worth submitting the exam as you may have enough correct answers to pass. The cost is $12.50 to enrol. (includes payment transaction fees).

Please note: if you fail to pass the exam, you are required to enrol again at a cost of $12.50.

Refund Policy

• If notification is provided to Netball Australia (through learning@netball.com.au) prior to a learner commencing the Rules of Netball Exam as they no longer wish to complete the  Exam, Netball Australia will refund the learner the full cost of the course, less the administration/processing fee. 
• If notification is provided to Netball Australia (through learning@netball.com.au) after a learner has paid and subsequently completed the online Rules of Netball Theory Exam, Netball Australia will not provide the learner a refund.
