About the Rules of Netball Exam

Welcome to the Netball Australia Rules of Netball Theory Examination.

It is highly recommended that prior to commencing this exam you read a copy of the Rules of Netball. It is available for purchase from here.

To pass the Rules of Netball Theory Examination, you must score at least 70%. If you score less than 70% you will need to complete the exam again to be registered as a pass with Netball Australia, your State Netball Organisation and your local Association/Club.

Duration and Cost

You will have two (2) hours to complete the exam, so make sure you have enough time set aside without interruptions. If you don’t finish within the required time it is still worth submitting the exam as you may have enough correct answers to pass. The cost is $12.50 to enrol. (includes payment transaction fees).

Please note: if you fail to pass the exam, you are required to enrol again at a cost of $12.50.

Enrolment Details

The Rules of Netball Theory Exam an online course that is accessible all year round. 

• If you notify Netball Australia in writing (via learning@netball.com.au) that you no longer wish to complete the course before starting it, you will receive a full refund, minus an administration/processing fee. Receiving a refund will therefore remove your enrollment into the course.
• If notification is provided in writing to Netball Australia (via learning@netball.com.au) after you have paid and subsequently completed the online course, no refund will be provided, as completion of the course is considered final.
• If you choose to commence the course, no refund will be issued.
